Online learning provides the ultimate flexibility. You can participate from home, school, or your local library - anywhere with a computer and internet access. Never set foot in a classroom while entering the wonderful world of flexible learning. Online courses requires a high degree of self-motivation and time management skills are critical to success as there will be due dates for assigned work.
How it Works
Select your online course(s) from the course catalog. It is strongly recommended that you take the E-Learning Assessment
to see if online learning is a good fit for you. The data from this assessment provides you with wonderful strategies to help with your success.
Your course will be use a course management software called Edvance360. Your instructor will use E360 to organize and structure your course materials, assignments, and to facilitate engaging discussions as well as group activities.
Attendance is critical! Your class will NOT meet face to face, but, participating in the course and following the instructors timeline is just important. While you don't have a synchronous time that you must be online, you do have to participate regularly. The online portion can be accessed anywhere, anytime! You must check in and participate regularly.
