CVTC and the Eau Claire Area School District have partnered to offer incoming high school juniors interested in pursuing a career in the medical field the opportunity to graduate as a Medical Assistant. Students who successfullycomplete this academy have the opportunity to earn their Patient Care Specialist Technical Diploma after their junior year and complete their Medical Assistant Technical Diploma by the end of their senior year.
When: September 1, 2020 - June 3, 2021
Location: Real Time Synchronous/Online
Credential Earned: Upon successful completion of this CAAHEP accredited medical assistant program, the graduate can take the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) exam. Once the graduate has passed the exam, he or she can use the CMA (AAMA) credential.

Year 1: Junior Year Credential Earned: Patient Care Specialist Diploma
When: September 2021 – June 2022 Location: CVTC Time: 8 - 11 am
Year 2: Senior Year Credential Earned: Medical Assistant Technical Diploma
