Ellsworth High School Mobile Lab Industrial Robotics Systems

Dual Credit High School Academy

CVTC has partnered with Ellsworth High School to offer Intro to Robotics. In this course, learners are introduced to programming techniques for industrial robots. The learner examines teach pendant programming including I/O, routines, decision making, six frames of positional operation, and robot communication. Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to operate and program industrial robots commonly used in Industry 4.0. (Mobile Lab)

The students will have the opportunity to take the following SACA Certs after they successfully completed the following courses: 

Certified Industry 4.0 Associates III - Robot System Operations.

Course Description

​​Terminology, concepts, and components of robots, robot-type machines, and automation. Emphasis will be on interfacing automated machinery.
