EXPLORE AND EARN
Start College Now, formerly known as Youth Options, allows public high school juniors and seniors who meet certain requirements to take courses at CVTC. Approved courses may count toward high school graduation and will count toward college credit. The school board pays for any approved course (including tuition, books, and fees) taken for high school credit that is not comparable to a course offered in the school district. Students can register for a course with other CVTC students if a seat is available at registration.
Application Deadlines:
- Fall Semester – March 1
- Spring Semester – October 1
Popular Courses Include
Public high school students in good academic standing after completing 10th grade, meeting prerequisites, securing parental approval, and maintaining a clean disciplinary record are eligible for courses.
