CVTC Named a Top 10 Aspen Finalist
Chippewa Valley Technical College has been named one of just 10 community college finalists nationwide for the 2027 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, one of the nation's most prestigious recognitions for community colleges.
The Aspen Prize recognizes colleges that achieve exceptional results for students. The selection process is based on student outcomes and measures what matters most, including graduation rates, employment and earnings after graduation, transfer success, and equitable outcomes across student populations.
Being named a finalist places CVTC among the nation's leading community and technical colleges and reflects the college's commitment to helping students achieve their goals. From earning industry-recognized credentials to launching rewarding careers, CVTC students are building brighter futures for themselves, their families, and our communities.
This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of students, employees, alumni, employer partners, and community supporters. Together, they are creating opportunities that strengthen the regional workforce and improve lives across western Wisconsin.
