- Pay the one-time $30 application processing fee.
Program Academic Preparedness Requirements
- Education Requirement – Applicants who did not graduate from high school, are not currently high school seniors, and did not receive an HSED or GED diploma can contact Adult Education and College Prep at 715-833-6400 or adultedservices@cvtc.edu to explore options to demonstrate college readiness.
Once all the above items have been completed, you will be considered for enrollment based on current openings in the program.

- Transfer Credit – Applicants with postsecondary credits should submit an official transcript* to the Admissions Office at admissionsmail@cvtc.edu for evaluation and possible transfer credit.

Students enrolled in either the Associate of Applied Sciences program or the Paralegal Post-Baccalaureate Technical Diploma program who have taken courses within the Wisconsin Technical College System must earn a minimum of twenty-five percent (25%) of their semester credits (or a minimum of twelve semester credits) for paralegal legal specialty courses taught at CVTC in CVTC’s Paralegal program. To be accepted as transfer credit, a student must have earned a grade of “C” or better for any paralegal legal specialty course and have taken the course within five years of the request with a paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association. Transfer credit for legal specialty courses completed at non-Wisconsin Technical College System institutions are granted only where the courses have been taken at a school with a paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association within five years. Students must have earned a grade of “C” or better and have taken the course within five years of the request. All students are required to take the minimum of nine semester credits in live, synchronous “real time” format either at CVTC’s, another Wisconsin Technical College System’s, or another institution’s ABA-approved paralegal program.
*Official transcripts must be submitted directly to CVTC from the educational institution by USPS mail or other recognized mail service providers in a sealed envelope or from a digital credential service (i.e., Parchment) approved by CVTC.
