CVTC Foundation, Inc., exists to enhance the vision and mission of Chippewa Valley Technical College. This task is accomplished by securing resources that will provide student scholarships, support staff initiatives, invest in technology, and provide for ongoing facility development. CVTC Foundation, Inc., engages volunteers and staff in building a philanthropic culture through cultivating friends and alumni, raising funds, providing student scholarships, and managing the resources invested by the Foundation for CVTC. Foundation Funds

CVTC Foundation, Inc., offers several ways to support Chippewa Valley Technical College, its students, and staff.

 

Alumni Fund

The Alumni Fund is managed by the CVTC Alumni Association board of directors. The Alumni Fund provides student scholarships and contributes to other CVTC initiatives.

Student Emergency Fund

The Student Emergency Fund is a fund dedicated to helping students in financial need during a time of crisis. Our goal is to build this fund to provide students with support so their education is not interrupted.

Student Success Fund

This fund is dedicated to securing unrestricted contributions that benefit today’s CVTC students. Student Success Fund support enables CVTC to focus on pressing needs and provide a solid foundation upon which to sustain programs and embark on new initiatives. The fund supports scholarships for students, equipment for training students, and new program initiatives to advance the mission of the College.

Start Your Own Scholarship Fund or Endowment

Endowments are permanently restricted funds where only the interest earned on the fund is spent on scholarships, allowing the fund to exist in perpetuity. A minimum donation for an endowed fund is $10,000.

Please Note: Each gift to CVTC Foundation, Inc., is assessed an administrative fee: 5 percent for new charitable gifts, 3 percent for new endowment gifts, and 1.5 percent of fund balance for endowment management.​

 

Foundation Board Members

The CVTC Foundation is fortunate to have a talented and dedicated board of directors. These individuals, volunteering their time and expertise, have enabled the Foundation to grow financially and programmatically over the past year.
