Mission Statement
CVTC Foundation, Inc., exists to enhance the vision and mission of Chippewa Valley Technical College. This task is accomplished by securing resources that will provide student scholarships, support staff initiatives, invest in technology, and provide for ongoing facility development. CVTC Foundation, Inc., engages volunteers and staff in building a philanthropic culture through cultivating friends and alumni, raising funds, providing student scholarships, and managing resources invested by the Foundation for CVTC.

Adam Wehling

As Executive Director of the CVTC Foundation and Associate Vice President of Development, Adam Wehling leads the effort to advance philanthropy, strengthen community and industry partnerships, and expand educational opportunities that support student success at Chippewa Valley Technical College. Adam's connection to CVTC is deeply personal. His own experience portrayed in the award-winning feature "Saved by CVTC" showcases how critically important CVTC graduates are to our community.
Before stepping into Foundation leadership, Adam served as Dean of the Agriculture, Energy, Construction & Transportation Division for more than a decade, guiding major initiatives such as the construction of the Energy Education Center and Transportation Education Center, program modernization, and the successful college referendum that expanded access and opportunity across the district. Adam began his career teaching middle/high school agricultural education and serving as an FFA Advisor for 12 years, where he cultivated student leadership, career readiness, and community engagement. These values continue to shape his approach to development work today.
Grounded in CVTC's mission, Adam is driven by his strengths as a learner, and relator, and achiever, and by his commitment to connecting people and purpose. His focus is on building relationships that sustain the college's mission and empower students to complete their programs, graduate, and achieve their dreams.
Tiara Jellum
Major Gifts Officer

As the Major Gifts Officer for the CVTC Foundation, Tiara is passionate about building lasting relationships that make a difference. "I love to see the impact that generosity can have on students and our community," she shares.
Tiara joins CVTC from St. Olaf College, where she served as the Donor Engagement Officer and oversaw all fundraising campaigns through the Annual Fund.
New to both CVTC and the Chippewa Valley community, Tiara is eager to connect with local partners and supporters to strengthen opportunities for every student the college serves. she believes that education should be affordable and accessible to everyone—and is dedicated to helping make that vision a reality through the power of the Foundation.
Amanda Kroll
Scholarship Coordinator & Advancement Assistant

Enthusiastic and highly energetic, Amanda has been a valued member of the CVTC Foundation team for nearly four years. In her role, she manages the scholarship system and serves as the lead support for the Foundation, helping ensure smooth operations and meaningful connections between donors and students. Amanda is passionate about advancing student success and supporting the College's mission through strategic initiatives and a student-focused approach.
A proud two-time CVTC alumna, Amanda holds Associate degrees in both Cosmetology and Business Management. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and their four grown children—often relaxing together around a fire in the backyard.
Bill Wonder
Foundation Operations & Finance Specialist

Bill began his career with CVTC in 2024 with the Finance Department and joined the Foundation in the summer of 2025. Student success has always been a priority, having served many years as a volunteer teacher with Junior Achievement and as a mentor in the Chippewa Falls school system.
He brings a background in Finance and Analysis with an emphasis on process improvement and operational efficiency.
Bill has a bachelor's degree in accounting and earned his M.B.A from UW-Eau Claire. Is his free time Bill enjoys running, hiking, biking, and spending time in the outdoors. He lives in Eau Claire with his wife, Kelly.
