Distinguished Alumni Award

Distinguished Alumni

CVTC named its first Distinguished Alumnus in 1997. This is the most prestigious award presented by CVTC. It honors outstanding alumni who have made significant contributions to their community, college, and career.

To be eligible alumni must have completed a diploma or degree program at CVTC. Current CVTC Foundation and Alumni Board members are not eligible.

Selection will be made on the basis of the following criteria:

Exhibits outstanding leadership and character
Achieved significant accomplishments in career area
Exhibits outstanding service to the community
Supports CVTC

The Distinguished Alumni Award is presented each year at the CVTC Alumni Association Gala.

Outstanding Recent Alumni Award

Outstanding Recent Alumni

CVTC’s Outstanding Recent Alumni Award honors outstanding alumni who have made significant contributions to their community, college, and career.

Alumni who have completed a diploma or degree program at CVTC within the last 10 years of graduation are eligible for the award. Current CVTC Alumni Board and Recent Alumni Committee members are not eligible.

Selection will be made on the basis of the following criteria:

Commitment to improving their chosen profession
Involvement in community and/or CVTC while in school and after graduation
Demonstration of involvement and/or service that goes “above and beyond” or merits recognition

CVTC’s Outstanding Recent Alumni Award honors outstanding alumni who have made significant contributions to their community, college, and career. Alumni who have completed a diploma or degree program at CVTC within the last 10 years of graduation are eligible for the award.

The Outstanding Recent Alumni Award is presented each year at the CVTC Alumni Association Gala.
