Welcome to Capstone Creative!

The CVTC Graphic Design capstone course is the final step in the program and provides student with real-world experience before graduation. This community service project offers services that correspond with the course which runs each year between January and May.

Student Design Center

The Graphic Design program teaches students traditional art fundamentals, like drawing and typography, but also digital art skills for print and electronic media using the latest Adobe Creative Cloud applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate, and After Effects. Coursework builds upon itself during the program as students work with real clients on projects aimed at strengthening communications as well as project management and time management skills.

Our Services

Logo Design  //  $55

We will work with you to develop a logo that suits your business. In some cases a simple brand standard guide may be provided as well.

Logo Update or Vectorization  //  $35

We can also take a pre-existing logo or logo drawing and create a vector logo based on it. A vector is a format that gives you infinite scalable and is an industry standard in design. We can also create an updated logo from pre-existing graphics.

Print or Digital Ad Designs  //  $35

We can create an ad that will be used in a printed source or delivered digitally online like through social media or e-mail. When submitting your request please specify where your ad will be displayed.

Brochure  //  $35

We will provide a print ready file for a bi-fold or tri-fold brochure. Please provide the desired text with your submission.

Poster/Flyer  //  $35

We will provide a print ready file for a poster or flyer. Please provide us with the desired dimensions.

Business Card  //  $25

Business cards designs are delivered digitally. Unless specified otherwise, we’ll design the business card for a standard 2" x 3.5" card. If you would like to do something different let us know.

Photography

In-Studio  //  $20 per 20 minute slot

On-Site  //  Inquire for Pricing

We offer photography services as a supplement to our other design projects. We try to photograph in the studio whenever possible, such as headshots and product photography. If your project requires on-site photography, we may be able to help depending on location and timing.

All design products include up to two sets of revisions. Additional revision sets are an additional $100 each.
We can also work on custom requests beyond those listed. Please contact us for details and a price estimate.

If the project is a good fit for our students, a formal estimate will be generated, and approval will be required before we begin a project.

Frequently Asked Questions

What months of the year is this service run?
Capstone Creative runs during the spring semester alongside the graphic design capstone course. This course typically runs from the end of January until mid-May. We accept orders for the spring semester from November until Mid-March or until workload is full.

What happens if the project runs longer than a semester?
We try to only accept enough orders that are doable within a semester. In the event your order is not completed by the end of the semester, we will provide a partial to full refund depending on progress. Any available in-progress production files would be provided to you.

Will all projects be approved, or only certain things?
Most projects but not all will be accepted. We review each request and determine if it will fit within the skillset, scope, and time frame of the graphic design capstone course. Some projects with a larger scope may need to be cut back to fit within the workflow of students.
