Regional DataCenter

In 2012, CVTC, UW-Eau Claire, and WiscNet recognized similar problems in housing their growing infrastructure footprint. Leveraging the purpose-built space at CVTC's Applied Technology Center, the three organizations partnered to create the Regional DataCenter and opened it to other partners.

Today the RDC remains a collaborative effort of education-focused entities. We offer a 24x7 secure, self-service facility with fully redundant power & cooling system as well as enough capacity to house even the most challenging systems.
