Visit Us at the Fire Safety Center

CVTC’s Fire Safety Center serves as a training site for emergency services program and as a facility for businesses to conduct research and development for fire safety products. The heart of the building is a 50’ X 50’ burn room with thick, high walls lined with fireproof material and a ventilation system that can control the amount of air fueling a fire.

You can observe activities in the burn room from an adjacent observation room/classroom, where you can see a demonstration on how to properly approach an intense chemical fire, or check out how your company’s products are measuring up. The Fire Safety Center also features an equipment storage bay and an exercise room for emergency services program students.
