CVTC celebrates Menomonie campus remodel

Chippewa Valley Technical College and the Menomonie community celebrated 14,000 square feet of newly remodeled spaces at its Menomonie campus during a ribbon-cutting event on Monday, Sept. 15.
Jeff Sullivan, CVTC dean of Workforce Solutions and Integrated Technologies, spoke during the event and spoke to the excitement of unveiling new spaces at the campus.
"These new and remodeled labs are more than just upgraded spaces. They’re a reflection of CVTC’s mission – to meet the evolving needs of our community," Sullivan told the crowd of more than 50. "Whether it’s in business, health or manufacturing, these flexible learning environments allow us to adapt, innovate, and serve."
Following the ceremony, guests toured the updated spaces and met instructors in refreshed classrooms.
The Menomonie campus, which first opened in 1992, underwent renovations to create modern, flexible learning environments designed to better serve today’s students and workforce needs. Updated spaces include a health academy lab, computer classroom, and an automation engineering lab. Updated classrooms and labs provide space for hands-on training in high-demand fields, ensuring CVTC students are prepared for rewarding careers.
“We’re excited to share these updates with our community,” said Beaton-Garcia. “The remodeled campus reflects our commitment to innovation, student success, and the region’s growing workforce.”
