Training Spaces
The CVTC Emergency Service Education Center at the West Campus provides safe, collaborative training spaces to police and fire departments and public and private businesses. These newly renovated spaces feature state-of-the-art equipment, including medical simulation mannequins, an indoor firing range, a fitness center and defensive tactics room, and MILO simulation room.
MILO Simulation Room
Perform 180-degree virtual reality scenarios in the MILO classroom. Using customizable scenarios you can practice threat/bystander decision-making.
* CVTC instructional assistant required at $30 / hour. Contract agreement required.
Firearms Range
The firearms range accommodates handgun and rifle training and provides you with the opportunity for live and force-on-force simulations.
* CVTC instructional assistant required at $30 / hour. Contract agreement required.
Defensive Tactics Room
In our full-service fitness center you can practice defensive and arrest, and cell entries and extractions in our two realistic jail cells.
* Must sign a room rental agreement.
