What activities will I be able to participate in and what amenities will I have access to?
As a hall resident, you will be able to participate in CVTC Student Life activities along with UWEC residence hall activities.
You will also have access to UWEC and CVTC dining services for an additional fee.
CVTC student can purchase an UWEC recreation pass, which will allow you to participate in UWEC intramurals and have access to other recreational facilities. Pass is purchased through CVTC.
What meal plans are available for 2023-2024?
CVTC students can purchase the UWEC meal plan listed below directly from UWEC Blugold Card Services at the same time you get your Blugold affiliate card. Meal plans will be loaded directly onto your Blugold affiliate card and will not expire until your housing contract with UWEC ends in May. Below is a description of the plan; you may not choose from any other UWEC meal plan. It is important to understand the plan allows you to dine in Riverview Café in the Hilltop Center. RIVERVIEW CAFÉ is all you can eat, offerings include main entrées, grill favorites, salad bar, vegetarian and vegan bar, pizza, pasta, deli sandwiches and wraps, soup, Mexican favorites, beverages, and desserts.
20 BLOCK MEAL PLAN | $150 COST IS PAYABLE AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE
20 Block Meals • Upper campus at Riverview Café in Hilltop Center– one admittance to eat as much as you want = 1 block meal • Purchase this meal plan by visiting Blugold Card Services • You may purchase additional 20 block meal plans as needed • Unused Block Meals do not expire until May when your housing contract with the University ends.
Where can I park on campus?
CVTC students are not allowed to park on UWEC Campus. Special arrangements have been made for CVTC students living at Murray Hall to be able to park overnight in the CVTC student parking lot (P3). The special permit parking fee is $25. You will receive an email just prior to move in with details. Students parking anywhere other than the student lot will receive a parking citation.
