During this two-year program, you will develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the exciting and fast-paced world of aesthetics. Laser Treatments & Procedure
This course complements Laser Theory & Application. Students will learn how to provide aesthetic laser treatments utilizing current industry best practices.
Hair Removal/Makeup Techniques
This course introduces the theory and practice of hair removal techniques and makeup application. Students will learn about infection control and safety protocol while performing both hair removal and makeup application skills.
Advanced Skin Science
This course expands the foundational knowledge in A&P Aesthetics by advancing the students' understanding of skin aging, acne, and pigmentation. Students will learn how to conduct skin consultations and recommend skin therapy solutions.

Student Learning Outcomes
A Student Learning Outcome refers to the specific skills, knowledge, or abilities that students are expected to demonstrate upon successful completion of an academic program or degree.
Students will:
- Perform advanced, aesthetic face and body treatments for therapeutic benefit in medical and spa settings
- Perform chemical services up to medium depth in medical and spa settings
- Apply business practices for industry success
- Utilize electrotherapy techniques in medical and spa settings
- Perform Intense Pulse Light (IPL), and Class 2 laser treatments, under physician supervision in medical and spa settings
- Develop client treatment plans
- Develop ethical therapeutic relationships with clients
