Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration (HVACR) Technician Overview

Did you know that qualified and certified technicians in the environmental air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration industry are in high demand? This program will provide you with both hands-on technical and service situations under the close supervision of an experienced instructor.

This program will prepare you to take the Environmental Protection Agency Certification Exam for safe handling of refrigerants along with the Industry Competency Exam for HVACR technicians.

HVACR Service & Applications
Students learn the techniques to install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems, in a well-equipped lab that provides the optimal training experience.

Schematic Wiring–HVAC
Students will learn to read and interpret electrical schematics found on a variety of HVACR equipment.

Technical Problems–HVAC
Students will be asked to diagnose and solve a variety of electrical and mechanical problems found on actual HVACR equipment.
