Start here. Go there. Interested in college but unsure what you want to major in? CVTC’s Liberal Arts program allows you to take general education courses that will help you figure it out. Use these credits towards an associate of science degree in Liberal Arts, or you can transfer your credits to a four-year university and pursue a bachelor’s degree. CVTC has partnerships with UW-Eau Claire, UW-River Falls, and UW-Stout, which means your credits are guaranteed to transfer to those universities.
Liberal arts education is flexible and affordable. You can take all your classes at CVTC or just a few. We also offer summer courses allowing you to earn your credits quicker. The tuition at CVTC is affordable and much lower than other institutions as you'll see below.

English Composition I Develops critical thinking, reading, writing, listening, and speaking for both exposition and argumentation.
Plane Trigonometry Covers trigonometric functions and their inverse functions, graphing trigonometric functions, trigonometric identities, solving triangles, solving equations and inequalities, complex numbers in trigonometric form, and polar curves.
Intro to Astronomy You will explore topics such as the life cycle of stars, the Big Bang theory, and theories on the birth and possible death of the universe. The course includes both lecture and a hands-on lab.
