Heavy Equipment Safety & Industry Skills
In this course, students will learn about proper safety practices and awareness while working in and around heavy equipment and work conditions with hazards. The following is an example of a few items that will be covered: operating commonly used tools & equipment, safety harnesses & rigging, hand signals and proper lifting techniques, properly ventilating work spaces roadway/flagger safety.
Electricity for Heavy Equipment Technicians
In this course, students will learn about DC and AC electricity & troubleshooting related to working in heavy equipment applications.
Related Welding for Diesel
The purpose of this course is to help the students acquire the basic welding skills in oxyacetylene welding, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW). It is a hands-on self-paced learning environment to learn basic welding skills and safe welding practices.
