Child Care Services Program Details

CVTC’s Child Care Services program offers a strong framework to work with children. This program allows students to complete their education in one year and begin their child care career. If you enjoy working with children, you should pursue this technical diploma.

Child care providers play an important role in child development by attending to children’s needs and organizing activities that stimulate physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth.

In the child care classes you will learn how to help children explore their interests, develop their talents and independence, build self-esteem, and behave with others. Your education will also include a practicum, allowing you to apply your education in a local child care or early childhood school setting.
