Our safety trainers have work experience and training skills that allow them to work within any aspect of industry, and evaluate the safety and training demands for any client in need of specialized safety training and consulting. Our trainers have many years of safety training and consulting experience, and a proven track record of improving safety initiatives in all aspects of industry.

Matt Lind

Work Experience

  • Joined CVTC in 2014
  • Over 17 years of experience developing and delivering training programs in many different areas of industry
  • Worked as an Environmental Safety and Security Coordinator for Hutchinson Technology, and a DOT distribution manager for Airgas Carbonic Inc. 
  • Vast background in environmental safety and 49 CFR EPA standards including Hazwoper, CERCLA, and RCRA

  • Over 29 years of safety management experience in a variety of highly regulated manufacturing industries including food, paper, and printing/publishing
  • Worked at NestlĂ© Nutrition in Eau Claire for 11 ½ years
  • Proven track record of reducing worker’s compensation costs through injury prevention

Richard Stangl, Jr.

Work Experience

  • Joined CVTC in 2016
  • Over 16 years of occupational safety and fire/emergency services experience
  • Worked at Global Finishing Solutions as the safety director; within Army Corps of Engineers EM-385 Regulations, fleet safety management and driver qualification to Department of Transportation Regulations
  • Coordinated all environmental activities as applicable to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Environment Protection Agency Regulations
  • Worked for Cintas Fire Protection as a pre-engineered/portable fire service technician and systems installer
  • Contract plant protection officer/training officer at ALCOA-Davenport Works and IPSCO Steel-Muscatine, both in Iowa

Electromechanical/Industrial Mechanic Trainer

Our manufacturing trainer, Vince Fiorani, collaborates with business and industry to develop customized training and seminars for technical personnel on multiple automation control platforms. His work experience and training skills allow him to evaluate the challenges that today’s automated plant floors contend with. As a solution provider, he will leverage his knowledge and expertise and tailor the training and consulting capabilities to best meet the training needs of your technical personnel.

Vince Fiorani

Mark Husby

Work Experience

  • Joined CVTC in 2015
  • Over 15 years of industry experience in manufacturing
  • Expertise ranges from electrical panel design-and-build, to working with clients developing and implementing new industrial plants
  • Specializes in creating Programmable Logic Controller programs, process descriptions, HMI programs, electrical drawings and P&IDs for new and existing companies
  • Experience in a variety of platforms including AutoCAD, Rockwell Automation and Siemens Automation Products
  • Designed and implemented SCADA and PLC systems for new companies using both Siemens and Rockwell Platforms
  • As a project manager, was responsible for specifying instrumentation equipment and controls to use in the food and beverage industry
  • As a design engineer, created electrical wiring ladder diagrams, and troubleshoot electrical issues, wire panels and UL list

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Stout
  • Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology from Chippewa Valley Technical College
