Meet Beth
They were determined to make their dreams come true.
It’s now or never to make a leap of faith!
Two years ago, Beth received a breast cancer diagnosis. She was scared, but knew she had the support of friends and family, and plenty to fight for. She made it through chemo and radiation and realized that life is short, so you should shoot for what you want to do.
She wanted to find a way to give back to the community and show people the same love she received during her battle.
Beth decided to do something she had always dreamed of doing. She decided to take a leap of faith by opening her own salon. Grazie Salon, founded in 2019, now offers a complete luxury salon experience for the Chippewa Valley.
Beth’s experience with CVTC started when she was going through treatment, and the cosmetology students made a wig for her. It was a moment that was very special for her and left a lasting feeling about the College.
When Beth needed to staff the salon, she visited a few schools to meet potential employees. Ultimately, she hired two CVTC graduates who had the hands-on training to help the salon succeed.
The students have been a great addition to the salon and have used their past service work during their time in the program to help promote the salon’s mission.
Beth’s goal is to use her hands to give back so that others can pay it forward!
